JMT Discusses with Project Stakeholders on Combating Transnational Crimes in Indonesia

JAKARTA, 2 October 2020 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) convened a meeting with Centre for the Study of Islam and Society (PPIM) of State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah as Implementing Agency (IA) of Workshop to Promote the Use of Biometric Technologies for Enhanced Security in Southeast Asia project. The platform offered opportunities to understand relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of JAIF-supported projects in combating transnational crimes within the region.

The JMT acknowledged best practices and lessons learned that were withdrawn from the project implementation through the virtual meeting conducted on 2 October 2020. The discussion also served as an opportunity to enable closer ties between the JMT and project stakeholders.
