JMT meets project stakeholders in Lao PDR

LAO PDR, 3-4 October 2019 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) met proponents, implementing agencies, and project beneficiaries from Lao PDR as part of its monitoring activities to help collect relevant information to support the analysis of the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance of JAIF supported projects on environment, information, and counter-terrorism.

The JMT also took the opportunity to interview project beneficiaries and sought the latter’s insights on the projects’ contributions, specifically on the sectors of environment and information. The JMT visited the following ministry and organizations in Lao PDR on 3-4 October 2019: Nam Ha National Protected Area in Luang Namtha Province, Lao National Television (LNTV), and the Ministry of Public Security in Vientiane.
