JMT Provides Training on Project Development to the Attachment Officers

JAKARTA, 21 July 2025 – The Initiative for ASEAN Integration and Narrowing the Development Gap (IAI-NDG) Division of the ASEAN Secretariat organised three-day training on project development from 21 to 23 July 2025. Co-facilitated by the Programme Cooperation and Project Management Division and the JAIF Management Team (JMT), the training was tailored for Attachment Officers (AOs) and focused on practical, hands-on learning.

The training featured a series of interactive exercises that allowed AOs to put newly acquired knowledge into practice. The training aimed to equip AOs with the skills needed to develop high-quality project proposals aligned with the ASEAN Cooperation Projects Design and Management Manual.

In their opening remarks, Director of JMT, Naoki Minamiguchi and Senior Officer of the Programme Cooperation and Project Management Division, Hernandi Dwi Prasetyo, underscored the importance of the training in enhancing AOs’ capacity to effectively support project planning and implementation in their respective ministries.
