Courtesy Visit to JMT by the Kedah Industrial Skills Management Development Centre (KISMEC)

JAKARTA, 21 February 2024 – The Executive Director of the Kedah Industrial Skills Management Development Centre (KISMEC), Mohd Yusuri Yusof, and his team visited the JAIF Management Team (JMT) on 21 February 2024. Greeted by JMT Programme Coordinator and Senior Programme Officer, Executive Director Yusof presented an overview of the outputs and achievements of the Common Standard Curriculum in Industrial Electronics for CLMV Countries project, which had been implemented by KISMEC since 2021 and was completed in December 2023.

The project assisted selected ASEAN Member States in strengthening their Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. It organised a pilot training programme, for which 105 people from six institutions registered. Out of the total participants, 96 completed the programme successfully, resulting in the passing rate of 91%, surpassing the expected minimum 80%.
