JAIF Management Team

ASEAN and the Government of Japan established the JAIF Management Team (JMT) to optimise the utilisation of JAIF for ASEAN Community building and integration efforts. JMT assists proponents in formulating and reviewing project proposals, including inputs on financial and procedural matters, in close coordination with the Government of Japan and desk officers of the ASEAN Secretariat.

JMT commenced operations with three members on 1 February 2011 and has expanded due to increased requests from ASEAN and Japan. JMT currently includes ASEAN and Japan staff working at the Heritage Building of the ASEAN Secretariat on the 5th Floor.
