JMT Participated in AJCCBC Project Steering Committee Meetings in the First Half of 2022
BANGKOK, 23 June 2022 – The 1st to 6th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meetings of the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (Step 2-2) were held from January to June 2022. These monthly virtual meetings were attended by representatives from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan, Embassy of Japan in Thailand, Mission of Japan to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat, and the JAIF Management Team (JMT).
The meetings updated the participants on the progress made through the Cybersecurity Awareness Self-Learning courses provided in January-June 2022. The meetings also discussed cooperation to ensure the sustainability of the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (AJCCBC) as well as reported on Centre’s public relation activities. At one of the meetings, Zin Aung Swe, JMT Programme Coordinator, made a presentation on technical support that can be extended to AJCCBC when conducting evaluations and report preparation.
The ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (Step 2-2) project is being implemented under the collaboration between the MIC of Japan and the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) of Thailand.
JMT Programme Coordinator Zin Aung Swe participated in the PSC meetings.
