JMT participates in the 4th ACDM WG-KIM meeting

HANOI, 14-15 May 2018 – The 4th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) Working Group on Knowledge and Innovation Management (WG-KIM) was held on 14-15 May 2018 at Thang Loi Hotel, Hanoi, Viet Nam. The meeting consisted of closed and open sessions. In view of the project work plans and updates on appraisal process, the Co-chairs of the ACDM WG-KIM, Singapore, Indonesia and Viet Nam, approved the participation of a representative from the JAIF Management Team (JMT) to participate as an observer, in particular under the agenda items on updates on plans for ICT Phase IV and updates on the ACE Programme. Discussions were held during the meeting’s closed session on 14 May 2018.

The WG-KIM extended the invitation for the open session the following day with partners who have projects under the purview of the WG-KIM. During the said open session, possible cooperation with partners for the implementation of Priority Programme 8 (LEAD) under the AADMER Work Programme 2016-2020 was explored, among others.
