JMT Participates in the 4th Project Steering Committee Meeting for the “AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme 2021”

JAKARTA, 15 September 2020 – The 4^th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting for the AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme 2018-2020 was held on 15 September 2020 through virtual meeting. The meeting was co-chaired by National Disaster Management Authority of Indonesia (BNPB), Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) and Viet Nam Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. The meeting was attended by the representatives from Mission of Japan to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat, the AHA Centre and JMT.

The meeting was updated about the status of implementation of ACE Programme 7^th batch in 2021, ACE programme impact evaluation and other activities. The platform also discussed on financial report and budget realignment as well as Future-Driven Strategy for Capacity Development of ASEAN Professionals in Emergency Response and in Building Resilience (FUTURESCAPES) proposal. The JMT provided the meeting with inputs of JAIF guidelines and procedure during the discussion of 7^th batch implementation options.
