JMT Participates in the 7th Project Steering Committee Meeting for the AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme 2018-2020

JAKARTA, 6 September 2022 – The seventh Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting of the AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme 2018-2020 was virtually held on 6 September 2022. The meeting was co-chaired by Indonesia, Singapore, and Viet Nam, and attended by representatives from the Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (DMHA) Division of the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (the AHA Centre), and the JAIF Management Team (JMT).

The meeting updated the participants on the implementation of the ACE Programme Batch 7 and the outcomes of a Batch 7 evaluation. As this batch is the last batch of the project, the meeting discussed the way forward for the ACE Programme as well as the direction for a future programme. JMT conveyed a message from the Mission of Japan to ASEAN and highlighted the importance of the ACE Programme as one of the flagship projects for both ASEAN and Japan.
