JMT Participates in the AJCCBC Project Steering Committee Meetings in the Fourth Quarter of 2021
BANGKOK, 16 December 2021 – The 9th-12th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meetings of the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (Step 2-2) were held from October to December 2021. The virtual meetings were attended by representatives from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan, Embassy of Japan in Thailand, Mission of Japan to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat, and the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) Management Team (JMT).
The meetings reviewed the project implementation progress achieved in October-December 2021 as well as a work plan for the next year. The meetings also discussed cooperation with non-ASEAN countries to promote the Centre’s objectives and ensure the sustainability of the Centre by building on the progress achieved with Japan’s support through JAIF.
The project has been implemented under the collaboration between the MIC of Japan and the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) of Thailand. The activities continue until 31 December 2022.
