JMT Participates in the Extraordinary Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting for ASEAN Joint Operations Against Cybercrime (AJOC) and ASEAN Cyber Capacity Development Project (ACCDP) Phase II
SINGAPORE, 22 October 2020 – The extraordinary Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of ASEAN Joint Operations Against Cybercrime (AJOC) and ASEAN Cyber Capacity Development Project (ACCDP) Phase II was held on 22 October 2020. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore, International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) Global Complex for Innovation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Mission of Japan to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat and JAIF Management Team (JMT).
The meeting was organized in order to discuss the no-cost extension and budget realignment requests. The Implementation Agency also shared significant contributions of ASEAN Desk in the fight against cybercrime at operational, tactical and strategic level. It discussed continuation of project activities using virtual communication tools and platforms. The JMT participated in the meeting as the position to support the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
