JMT Participates in the Special Meeting for ACE Programme
JAKARTA, 20 January 2022 – In response to a recommendation of the Sixth AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting, a special meeting was convened online on Thursday, 20 January 2022 to discuss onsite arrangements for the next phase of ACE Programme – Seventh Batch. The meeting was attended by PSC members from Indonesia, Singapore, and Viet Nam as Co-Chairs of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) Working Group on Global Leadership (WG on GL), as well as representatives from the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, the ASEAN Secretariat, the AHA Centre, and the JAIF Management Team (JMT).
The AHA Centre, as the implementing agency for the ACE Programme 2018-2022, facilitated the meeting. The meeting reviewed the course programme and timeline which included an online phase organised from 28 July to 1 December 2021 and proposed onsite courses to be held in 2022. JMT provided inputs to the proposed arrangement on the conduct of onsite courses.
