JMT Participation at the Capacity Building for the Operationalisation of the ASCC Blueprint M&E Systems for Viet Nam

JAKARTA, 22 March 2021The Capacity Building training on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Sectoral Bodies and Senior Officials Committee for the ASCC (SOCA) in Viet Nam was virtually organized on 22-24 March 2021. The training was conducted by ASCC Monitoring Division (AMD) of the ASEAN Secretariat and was attended by a total of 14 participants from ASCC Sectoral Bodies and SOCA of Viet Nam, ASCC Monitoring Division (AMD), AMD Capacity Building and Mid-Term Review Team and JAIF Management Team.

The training aims to build the skill of participants in the M&E of the ASCC Blueprint 2025 work plan and programme and to exchange information, knowledge and experience in practical applications. The training focused on the current M&E System, Implementation-Focused Monitoring System and Result-Based Monitoring System of the ASCC Blueprint 2025. JMT not only shared the JMT monitoring mechanism for projects funded by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) as one of the examples of ASEAN Cooperation Programmes and Projects funded by ASEAN Dialogue Partners, but also learned about data collection, management and processing and analysis as a participant from the training.
