JMT Participation in the Cybercrime Conference for Law Enforcement Agencies and Partners
PHUKET, 16 -19 May 2022 – The Cybercrime Conference for Law Enforcement Agencies and Partners was jointly organised by the JAIF project Association of Southeast Asian Nations Joint Operations Against Cybercrime and the Narcotics Control Board of Thailand, Royal Thai Police.
Zin Aung Swe, JAIF Management Team (JMT) Programme Coordinator, participated in the four-day conference that discussed and presented the efforts in combating cybercrime. Moreover, it also allowed vibrant interactions and coordination amongst stakeholders, including Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) from ASEAN Member States (AMS), INTERPOL, and the private sector.
Taking the opportunity of the conference, JMT shared the results of the JAIF Sectoral Review on Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crimes outlining best practices and lessons learned from JAIF projects in this sector. The participants from ASEAN Member States, Japan, and INTERPOL attended the JAIF presentation.
JMT Programme Coordinator Zin Aung Swe presented JAIF Sectoral Review on Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crimes at the Conference.
