JMT Provides a Briefing to the Project Stakeholders of Enhancing Capabilities of Public and Private Sector to Implement Regional Digital Agenda for CLMV Countries

JAKARTA, 20 October 2022 – On 20 October 2022, the JAIF Management Team (JMT) attended a virtual inception meeting of the Enhancing Capabilities of Public and Private Sector to Implement Regional Digital Agenda for CLMV Countries.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Viet Nam, the IAI & NDG Division of the ASEAN Secretariat, and JMT. A presentation provided by Sayuri Kakimoto, JMT Programme Coordinator, covered JAIF rules and procedures, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, and guidelines on visibility.

The overall objective of this project is to enhance the capabilities of the government and business sectors in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam (CLMV) to the regional digital agenda as well as to enforce its implementation under various work plans and agreements, including the ASEAN Work Programme on Electronic Commerce (AWPEC) 2017-2025. This project also contributes to the implementation of ECOTECH activities under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement.
