JMT Provides a Briefing to the Project Stakeholders of Technical Assistance to Strengthen Competition Law Enforcement in ASEAN – Phase 3

JAKARTA, 29 May 2023 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) attended a virtual inception meeting of the Technical Assistance to Strengthen Competition Law Enforcement in ASEAN – Phase 3 on 29 May 2023.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Trade Competition Commission Thailand (TCCT), the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD), and the ASEAN Secretariat’s Competition, Consumer Protection & IPR Division.

A presentation by JMT on JAIF rules and procedures, including its monitoring, evaluation, financial management, and visibility guidelines, was given to the project stakeholders, followed by a question-and-answer session.

The objective of the project is to assess and enhance the effectiveness of the competition regime in the ASEAN Member States. JAIF has continuously supported the project since the first phase in 2016.
