JMT Provides a Project Inception Briefing to the AICHR Thailand
JMT provided a project inception briefing to the Implementing Agency of the newly approved JAIF project, AICHR-SEANF Regional Workshop: Sharing Good Practices and Effective Remedy for Migrant Workers in Business and Human Rights in ASEAN.
Proposed and implemented by the Representative of Thailand to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), the new project aims to raise awareness on the implementation of United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and the access to effective remedy for migrant workers in ASEAN and beyond.
JMT Programme Coordinator, Miyuki Ishikawa, provided a briefing to AICHR Thailand’s project implementation staff. The briefing covered essential JAIF rules and procedures, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, and visibility.
JMT presented the important elements for project implementation.
