JMT visits JAIF proponents and implementing agencies in Malaysia
MALAYSIA, 26 February 2018 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) visited proponents and implementing agencies from Malaysia as part of its monitoring activities to help collect relevant information to support the analysis of the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance of JAIF supported projects. The visit also afforded JMT to learn from proponents and implementing agencies about the contributions of JAIF supported projects, including best practices and lessons learned from implementing them. The JMT visited the following ministries and organizations in Malaysia from 26 February – 2 March 2018: Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT), World Food Programme-United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (WFP-UNHRD), Ministry of Home Affairs, SME Corp., Ministry of Communications and Multimedia, and Marine Transport Training Institute (MATRAIN).
