JMT visits JAIF proponents and implementing agencies in Thailand
BANGKOK, 4 and 12 December 2018 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) organised meetings with proponents and implementing agencies from Thailand as part of its monitoring activities to collect relevant information on JAIF supported projects in support of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the information sector and to analyse their overall effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and relevance. The team met with 12 representatives from the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Kenan Institute Asia, AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC) Secretariat, PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (Thailand) Ltd., and The Government Public Relations Department (PRD). The visit also allowed the proponents and implementing agencies to share comprehensive information about the contributions of JAIF supported projects on MSME and information, including best practices and lessons learned.
