JMT visits JAIF stakeholders in Viet Nam
HANOI, 30 October-1 November 2019 – The JAIF Management Team (JMT) organised meetings with proponents, implementing agencies, and project beneficiaries from Viet Nam as part of its monitoring and outreach activities to understand the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and likely impact of JAIF supported projects in support of counter-terrorism, information, and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The visits also allowed JMT to gather lessons learned and good practices from the project implementation.
To communicate the contributions of JAIF supported projects, JMT also interviewed beneficiaries of the MSME project ASEAN Training Course to Build and Enhance Export Capacities for SMEs implemented in 2017.
Overall, the visits enabled closer ties with JAIF stakeholders as the team met representatives from Vietnam Television (VTV), Ministry of Industry and Trade, Viet Nam, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association.
