Second Meeting of the ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Project Steering Committee (PSC)
BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, 7 March 2024 – The Second Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting of ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) – Phase III took place in Brunei Darussalam on 7 March 2024.
Singapore and Thailand co-chaired the meeting, attended by Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Lao PDR, Malaysia, the ASEAN Secretariat, the Mission of Japan to ASEAN (MoJ), the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre), and the JAIF Management Team (JMT). The meeting updated the PSC members on the progress towards achieving the objectives of ASEAN-ERAT Induction and Level-1 courses. The co-chairs expressed gratitude to the member states representatives for hosting the courses and to the Government of Japan for their support as well.
The ASEAN-ERAT project has been funded by the Government of Japan through JAIF since the first phase in 2016.
Representatives from MoJ and JMT attended the second ASEAN-ERAT Project Steering Committee Meeting of the ASEAN-ERAT Phase III project.
