The 2nd PSC Meeting for DELSA Phase III Project

JAKARTA, 29 August 2022 – The second Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of Disaster Emergency Logistic System of ASEAN (DELSA) Phase III was held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta on 29 August 2022. The meeting was co-chaired by Malaysia, Myanmar, and Singapore. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Philippines, Thailand, Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (DMHA) Division of the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (the AHA Centre), and the Mission of Japan to ASEAN. From the JAIF Management Team (JMT), Director Naoki Minamiguchi and Programme Coordinator Zin Aung Swe attended.

The meeting discussed supply chain management and a replenishment of stockpiles under the DELSA Phase II project and suggested recommendations and follow-up actions. In addition, the meeting updated the stakeholders on the progress of key activities and project implementation, including the financial status of the DELSA Phase III. JMT actively participated in the discussion and provided guidance on the procurement of ICT equipment under the DELSA Phase III project.
