The 2nd PSC Meeting for the DELSA Phase II Project

MANILA, 24 August 2018 – The second Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting for the project “Establishment of a Disaster Emergency Logistics System for ASEAN (DELSA) – Phase II: Satellite Warehouse” was held on 24 August 2018 in Camp Aguinaldo, Manila, Philippines. Malaysia and Singapore, as co-chairs of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) Working Group on Preparedness and Response, co-chaired the meeting.

Thailand and the Philippines, as the host countries of the satellite warehouses, also attended the meeting along with the PSC members namely representatives from The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (The AHA Centre), ASEAN Secretariat, Mission of Japan to ASEAN, and Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) Management Team.

After the meeting, the PSC members visited the satellite warehouse in Camp Aguinaldo, Manila.
