The 3rd PSC Meeting and Pilot Advanced Course for the ASEAN-ERAT Transformation Project

VIENTIANE, 9-10 August 2018 – The third Project Steering Committee Meeting (PSC) for the “ASEAN-ERAT Transformation Project” was held on 9 August 2018 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Vientiane, Lao PDR. The project is part of the ASEAN-ERAT Transformation Plan (2015-2020), which focuses on strengthening the ASEAN-Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ERAT) system.

The ASEAN-ERAT Advisory Group, co-chaired by Singapore and Thailand, and representatives from Cambodia, Malaysia, and Viet Nam attended the meeting, along with PSC members from The ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (The AHA Centre), ASEAN Secretariat, Mission of Japan to ASEAN, and Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) Management Team.

After the meeting, the co-chairs invited the PSC to observe the Pilot Advance Course on Information Management, which was conducted in the same venue.
