Closing Ceremony of the 3rd ASEAN Junior Fellowship Programme with the ASEAN Secretariat

JAKARTA, 30 August 2024 – The 3rd ASEAN Junior Fellowship Programme (AJFP) concluded its month-long run today with a closing ceremony at the ASEAN Secretariat.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the ASEAN Junior Fellows sang the ASEAN Anthem to the audience. Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, Nararya S. Soeprapto,  Permanent Representative of the Lao PDR to ASEAN and Chair of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR), Bovonethat DOUANGCHAK congratulated the junior fellows on their achievements, highlighting their expanded knowledge about ASEAN through the programme and wishing the Junior Fellows success in the future endeavours.

Representing the ASEAN Junior Fellows, Phonethip Sitthiphone from the Lao PDR shared their experiences joining AJFP this year, highlighting the skills, knowledge, and network they gained throughout the programme.
