First Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting of the AHA Centre Executive Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management for ASEAN Programme (ACE LEDMP)

SURABAYA, 15 March 2024 – The First Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting of the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) Executive Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management Programme (ACE LEDMP) was held in Surabaya, Indonesia on 15 March 2024.

Viet Nam, Indonesia, and Singapore co-chaired the PSC, attended by other ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Secretariat, the Mission of Japan to ASEAN (MoJ), the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre), and the JAIF Management Team (JMT). The meeting updated the PSC members on the ACE LEDMP Work Plan 2024, along with feedback from the participants of the Executive Level-1st Batch.

During the session, the PSC members also suggested enhancing activities for ACE alumni. The MoJ appreciated the AHA Centre for the effective implementation of JAIF-funded projects, including the ACE LEDMP programme that has been funded by the Government of Japan through JAIF.
