JMT Participates in the 11th AJCCBC Project Steering Committee Meeting in 2020
BANGKOK, 18 November 2020 – The 11th Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (Step 2) was held on 18 November 2020. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan, Embassy of Japan in Thailand, Mission of Japan to ASEAN, ASEAN Secretariat and JAIF Management Team (JMT).
The PSC members were updated about the progress of the first online self-learning course which was conducted from 3-6 November 2020 and consisted of two (2) courses, namely Network Forensics and Malware Analysis. The meeting was informed of some challenges related to the procedures and system during the online training. A new proposal of possible project to follow-up ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (Step 2) was also discussed. JMT provided the information of approval and appraisal processes for JAIF supported scheme.
