JMT Participates in the 3rd Myanmar Government Local Capacity in Providing Humanitarian Assistance to Support the Repatriation Process Project Steering Committee Meeting in 2021

NAY PYI TAW, 22 June 2021 – The 3rd Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting of Enhancing the Readiness of Myanmar Government Local Capacity in Providing Humanitarian Assistance to Support the Repatriation Process was held on 22 June 2021 via video-teleconference. The meeting was chaired by the Department of Disaster Management of Myanmar (DDM) and attended by representatives from the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC), the AHA Centre, and Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) Management Team.

The meeting was updated on the progress of the project, financial status, and a snapshot of lessons learned from Training of Trainers conducted on 1-7 February 2021. JMT provided technical guidance on requirements of effective project implementation and completion.
