JMT Participates in the 7th Project Steering Committee Meeting for the Establishment of a Disaster Emergency Logistic System for ASEAN (DELSA) Phase II

JAKARTA, 8 September 2021 – The 7th Project Steering Committee (PSC) Meeting for the Establishment of a Disaster Emergency Logistics Systems for ASEAN (DELSA) Phase II: Satellite Warehouse was held on Wednesday, 8 September 2021 via video conference. The meeting was chaired jointly by Malaysia and Singapore as Co-Chairs of the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) Working Group on Preparedness and Response. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Philippines and Thailand as the host countries of the DELSA satellite warehouses. Other PSC members namely representatives from the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre), the ASEAN Secretariat, the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, and JAIF Management Team (JMT) also attended. The AHA Centre as the implementing agency for DELSA Phase II provided secretariat support to the meeting.

The meeting was updated on the project implementation and sustainability of DELSA. JMT provided technical advice on budget utilisation and project management.
