The project “Technical Assistance for Development of the SOMTC- Japan Work Plan” holds second coordination meeting
TOKYO, 24 May 2018 – The second coordination meeting for the project “Technical Assistance for Development of the SOMTC-Japan Work Plan for Cooperation to Combat Terrorism and Transnational Crime (2018-2022)” was held on 24 May 2018 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Tokyo, Japan. Representatives from the Senior Officials Meeting on Transnational Crime (SOMTC) Brunei, Officials from International Safety and Security Cooperation Division, MOFA Japan, and Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) attended the meeting. The JAIF Management Team (JMT) also joined the meeting to provide inputs and clarifications on project implementation and budget utilisation. The CSIS, as the project’s implementing agency, presented the summary of draft work plan and outcomes of the meeting with Lead Shepherd countries.
