On 2 July 2025, during an open session held on the occasion of the 19th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Health Development (SOMHD) to discuss cooperation with development partners, the Mission of Japan to ASEAN participated online and provided an explanation regarding support in the health sector utilising the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
