AICHR Regional Workshop on Gender Lens Perspective on Business and Human Rights in ASEAN

The AICHR Regional Workshop on Gender Lens Perspective on Business and Human Rights in ASEAN organized by the AICHR Malaysia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia (Wisma Putra), jointly supported by ASEAN Member States through the AICHR Fund, the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Malaysia), and in collaboration with Malaysia’s ministries and agencies and SUHAKAM was held on 30 June to 1 July 2025 in Kuala Lumpur.

The workshop aimed to provide a venue for consultation among AICHR, relevant ASEAN Sectoral Bodies (ASBs), National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) and key stakeholders to strengthen the promotion and implementation of a gender lens framework in the business and human rights matters in ASEAN.
