Ambassador Chiba Explains the Meaning behind the Japan-ASEAN50 Official Logo and Catchphrase

Japan’s relations with ASEAN began in 1973. That means next year, in 2023, Japan and ASEAN will celebrate 50 years of friendship and cooperation. To commemorate this important milestone, Mission of Japan to ASEAN and Permanent Missions of the ASEAN Member States in Jakarta have selected a logo and a catchphrase from a total of over one thousand entries.
