Ambassador KIYA’s Video Message at the “Year of ASEAN Youth 2022”

On 17 December 2022, Ambassador of Mission of Japan to ASEAN KIYA Masahiko delivered a video message to Universitas Jambi for celebrating the “Year of ASEAN Youth 2022 and Welcoming Indonesia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2023.”

In the message, Ambassador Kiya introduced projects of ASEAN-Japan cooperation, such as the ASEAN Centre for Public Health Emergencies and Emerging Diseases (ACPHEED) and the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme, which are supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). Ambassador Kiya encouraged students of Universitas Jambi to take advantage of these programmes in order to deepen their understanding of Japan.
