AMEN – Philippines Celebrates the Mentees’ Graduation
The ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN) – Philippines celebrates the mentees’ successful completion of the 10 modules and the presentation of their Business Improvement Plans as a testament to their hard work and dedication to their growth as entrepreneurs. The guidance provided by their mentors and coaches played a crucial role in the achievements of these milestones.
The AMEN Project has proven to be a valuable initiative in promoting MSME development not only in the Philippines but also in other ASEAN Member States. The presence of distinguished guests at the graduation ceremony, such as Mr. Virgilio Espeleta, AMEN AMI Consultant, Undersecretary Blesila Lantayona of the DTI- Regional Operations Group, Engr. Merly Cruz, AMEN Executive Director and Senior Adviser for MSME development at Go Negosyo, and Ms. Renea Tan, AMEN Regional Consultant, further underscores the program’s significance and impact.
During the ceremony, Mentors Josephine Romero and Armando Bartolome, along with mentees Carl Derrick Guanlao, Ma. Christina Valdez, and Marietta De la Torre, expressed their gratitude to the AMEN Project. They emphasised the merits of the program, which included the expansion of their knowledge, the growth of their professional network, and the creation of new business opportunities.
The AMEN Project Phase 2 is implemented in the Philippines by Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship – Go Negosyo and Department of Trade and Industry- Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development with the support of the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
