17 December 2023 -
As we approach the year’s end, ASEAN Volunteers stand united in elevating community resilience for disaster preparedness in Brunei Darussalam. Across a 22-day program, youth volunteers focused on disaster preparedness training, fortifying Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) systems in rural areas, and fostering community-based disaster risk reduction preparedness.
The ASEAN Volunteers project is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). This project is part of the commemoration of the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.
