Conversation with Ms. Sarah Ulat, ACE Programme alumnus

“I envision that disaster risk reduction and management is embedded in everybody’s way of life, and there is a sense of common responsibility.” Ms Sarah Ulat, the AHA Centre Executive (ACE) Programme alumnus, recognises that ASEAN nations can capitalise on relationships, promote togetherness, and learn from each other regarding disaster.

The ACE Programme is training for future leaders of national disaster management offices (NDMOs) in ASEAN countries conducted by the AHA Centre. The Programme is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
