JAIF Supports to the AHA Centre: Three Flagship Projects
Japan holds a unique and cherished relationship with ASEAN and the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre). From the inception of the AHA Centre, the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) has been one of its earliest supporters and largest financial contributor to date.
This year, JAIF continues to show its strong commitment to supporting the AHA Centre through the Disaster Emergency Logistics System for ASEAN (DELSA) Phase IV Project, Strengthening the Capacity of the ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) – Phase III, and the AHA Centre Executive (ACE): Leadership in Emergency and Disaster Management Programme (ACE-LEDMP). These three flagship projects were officially launched during the Commemoration of 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation in Ha Long, Viet Nam on 12 October 2023.
