JENESYS Online Exchange Program for Cambodia

JENESYS online exchange program between Nagasaki National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims and ECCC (Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia) and LDC (Legal Documentation Centre relating to the Extraordinary Chamber of Cambodia) was held on 17 March 2022. Mr. IWANAGA, Deputy Director of Nagasaki National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims, explained about the facilities, archival materials about the atomic bombing, the use of testimonial materials of atomic bombing experiences, building an international peace network, etc.

Participants had a meaningful discussion and reaffirmed the preciousness of peace and the importance of passing on the tragic events of the past to the next generation.

This program is part of the Japan’s Friendship Ties Programs JENESYS2021 “Inbound, Outbound and Follow Up Project” supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
