JENESYS Online Program for the Philippines

The JENESYS Online Program on Social Welfare was held on 30 November 2021. Mr. Wakayama, professor of Nihon Fukushi University introduced Japan’s long-term care. Following the lecture, panel discussion with Japanese and Filipino caregivers who work in long-term care facility in Japan was taken place. They introduced their work, daily schedule in the facility, and their motivation to do the job. Participants showed great interest as they asked many questions regarding the caregivers’ job in Japan.

This program is part of the Japan’s Friendship Ties Programs JENESYS2020 “Inbound, Outbound and Follow Up Project” supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
