JENESYS Online Programme on the BUDO

On 2-8 March 2022, Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) held the JENESYS online programme on the BUDO and Japanese traditional cultures for Bruneian youths who practice Japanese martial arts (BUDO). They also participated in the pre-programme in April and May last year. During the programme, they were exposed Sado – one of Japan’s famous traditions – and were given a lecture on Okinawa traditional BUDO.

It is hoped that this exchange programme will further develop the close and wonderful cultural relationship between the participants.

This program is part of the Japan’s Friendship Ties Programs JENESYS2021 “Inbound, Outbound and Follow Up Project” supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
