JENESYS Online School Exchange between Japan and Papua, Indonesia

Students from two high schools in Papua, Indonesia and students of Nagoya University Affiliated High School in Japan had an online exchange on 13 December 2021. Japanese students introduced Japan’s history, culture, and their school. Then, students from Papua, Indonesia take their turn to present about their school. Unfortunately due to the connection trouble, it was challenging to communicate smoothly in the breakout room session, but students from Papua sang 2 Japanese songs and performed Papuan traditional war dance.

This program is part of the Japan’s Friendship Ties Programs JENESYS2021 “Inbound, Outbound and Follow Up Project” supported by the Government of Japan through Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
