Ninth ASEAN-ERAT Advisory Group and ASEAN-ERAT Phase 2 Project Steering Committee Meetings
The ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Advisory Group members, the Mission of Japan to ASEAN, and the AHA Centre productively concluded the 9th ASEAN-ERAT Advisory Group and ASEAN-ERAT Phase 2 Project Steering Committee Meetings on Friday, 26 March 2021. The ASEAN-ERAT Advisory Group members provided technical inputs and recommendations to continue strengthening regional disaster response capacity by increasing the number of qualified ASEAN-ERAT Specialists and Team Leaders for the regional deployment missions in and outside the region. The meeting also aimed to promote the ASEAN-ERAT In-Country Network to wider networks.
The Strengthening ASEAN’s Collective Response Capacity through the Enhancement of the Capacity Building of the Regional ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) (2020 – 2022) is supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
