After the continuation of laboratory activities and a bioinformatics session, the Regional Workshop on DNA Barcoding of Common Vascular Plants concluded on 21 April with a trek to the mudsprings at Mount Makiling Forest Reserve and a visit to the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) office for the workshop's closing ceremony.

This activity is part of the Taxonomic Capacity Building on DNA Barcoding of Common Vascular Plants in the Tropics, a project supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
