The 2nd AICHR-Japan Interface Meeting

On November 7, the 2nd AICHR-Japan Interface Meeting was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, as on the sidelin of the AICHR (ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission On Human Rights) Special Meeting 2/2023. The agenda s includes possible cooperation between Japan and AICHR in realizing the AICHR Five-Year Work Plan 2021-2025, as well as ASEAN-Japan relations upon celebrating 50 years of friendship and cooperation this year.

Ambassador KIYA attended this meeting and exchanged views with AICHR representatives on the current situation and future direction and AICHR and Japan shared the view to conduct the AICHR-Japan Interface meeting on a regular manner.
