02 August 2021 -

In collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat and the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) held an online capacity building activity for ASEAN competition authorities with the theme “JAIF Virtual Training Course on Unilateral Conduct and Abuse of Dominance”. The activity which lasted for three days was attended by Investigators from various competition authorities of ASEAN member countries.

This event is part of the Technical Assistance for ASEAN Competition Authorities to Strengthen Competition Law Enforcement in ASEAN Region – Second Phase project supported by the Government of Japan Japan ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) program for the field of business competition law and policy. This project was initiated and implemented by KPPU to assist the development of competition law enforcement capacity in ASEAN. It is hoped that through this project, KPPU or Indonesia can contribute significantly in helping other ASEAN members to develop legal regimes and business competition policies.
