AMEN Project Phase 2 Holds Its Culminating Activity
The ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN) Project Phase 2 held its Culminating Activity to celebrate AMEN’s growing network of 105 mentors, 111 coaches, 20 consultants, 7 translators and 194 mentees all doing their part to achieve prosperity in the ASEAN.
As a legacy project of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ABAC), the AMEN Project has also started to collaborate with other regional programmes and projects currently implemented to better deliver access to not just Mentorship but also to Money (or capital) and Market, as well – thereby aiming to provide the 3Ms representing business pillars.
These programmes include the Brunei Mentors for Entrepreneurs Network (BMEN), which piloted the deployment of AMEN mentors across the ASEAN particularly by engaging AMEN-PH Mentor Butch Bartolome to conduct sessions on franchising for Bruneian mentees.
Another partner-programme of the AMEN is the Wiki Wirausaha (or Wiki Entrepreneur), a programme designed to deliver MSME development in the ASEAN. Likewise, exploratory meetings with officers of the Digital Trade Project of the Mitsubishi Research Institute and the ASEAN SME Academy have been held to put together supplemental online business courses for AMEN graduates. Furthermore, the ASEAN Access programme can be tapped to match export-ready AMEN graduates with suitable importers in the region and beyond.
The successful completion of the AMEN Project Phase 2 would not be possible without the generous funding from the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF), the unwavering support from the ACCMSME and the ASEAN Secretariat as well as partners in the public and private sectors in all ASEAN Member States.
