ASEC welcomes CLMV attachment officers

On 1 October, the ASEAN Secretariat welcomed nine officials from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Viet Nam (CLMV) as attachment officers. The one-year attachment programme supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) provides an opportunity for these junior officials to learn and gain experience on regional cooperation. The attachment officers are from different ministries that relate to the three ASEAN Community pillars.
