Cyber SEA Game 2021

Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), Ministry of Digital Economy and Society with the ASEAN-Japan Cooperation Center developed ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (AJCCBC) with the funding from Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).  AJCCBC organised the Cyber ​​SEA Game 2021 competition, which brings together the best people in the field of cybersecurity.

Young cybersecurity people from 10 countries in the ASEAN region came to compete on 26 November 2021. Due to the epidemic situation of COVID-19, the activity was still conducted in online format. Despite organised in online format, the quality and fun of the competition remain. The contestants, who are young people from 10 ASEAN nations, totaling 40 people, were welcomed by Atsushi Umino, Director of the Office of the Director-General for Cybersecurity, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan and Dr. Chaichan Mitrphan, Director of ETDA, who pledged to continually organise activities to enhance cybersecurity skills.
