JENESYS2019 Japan Exchange Program for Understanding Japan (16th Batch) – (Country: Cambodia, Theme: Japanese cultural exchange (revitalization of the region))
From January 13 to the 21, 25 students from Cambodia, who are interested in Japan, will visit Japan.
The group will visit Tokyo and Tokushima Prefecture as a program with the theme of “Japanese cultural exchange (local revitalization)”. In Tokyo, we will attend a lecture on bilateral relations between Japan and Cambodia. In Tokushima Prefecture, we plan to visit the Tokushima Prefectural Office and the University of Tokushima to exchange opinions on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic host town business, and to experience traditional culture and homestay.
Through this program, young people who will lead the future of Cambodia are expected to deepen their knowledge based on the themes, deepen their understanding and interest in Japanese culture, etc., and after returning to their country, they are expected to become active promoters of Japan’s appeal.
The JENESYS2019 is an exchange programme for the youths of Japan and ASEAN supported by the Government of Japan through the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).
